Stangenes Industries produces SCR controlled DC power supplies that can either be built in standardized configurations or customized based upon client specifications. These DC power supplies can be manufactured as components of a larger system or as a complete “turnkey” system, depending on customer needs. In addition, Stangenes Industries has developed innovative switching power supplies that utilize advanced capacitor charging technology. This enables our units to be significantly lighter and more reliable than comparable products. Our state-of-the-art power conversion units use IGBT switches operating at high frequency. These zero-current-switching, quasi-resonant converters often contain no oil or other dielectric fluids. We have also developed an advanced Optimized Charging Cycle (OCC) that reduces the peak power consumption from the line.
